  • Who can purchase Skokie Valley Beverage Products?
  • In the state of Illinois, wholesale beer distributors such as Skokie Valley Beverage Co (SVBCO) are licensed and regulated by the Illinois Liquor Control Commission. SVBCO can sell alcoholic products to retailers who have been issued retail liquor licenses by the Illinois Liquor Control Commission. In some instances, various non-profit organizations (Churches, clubs, etc.) are issued temporary limited-time licenses for “Special Events”.
  • Where is Skokie Valley’s Sales Territory?
  • Wholesale Beer Distributors are assigned specific, exclusive sales territories by each of their suppliers. Skokie Valley Beverage’s total coverage area includes North, Northwest, and Near-West Suburban Cook County, as well as part of the north side of the City of Chicago.
  • What products can Skokie Valley Beverage sell to a specific Retail Licensee?
  • Depending on the address/location, SVBCO must follow the brand territorial guidelines detailed in its distributor contract with each supplier. Retailers are advised by their account managers as to which products are available for sale to each licensed account.
  • What are SVBCO’s normal business hours for sales and delivery?
  • SVBCO’s hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 7:30am to 5 PM. Delivery hours vary due to seasonal volume, with hours continuing until accounts have been serviced.
